The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to users within the organization. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring optimal performance of technology resources.
- Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide solutions for hardware and software problems.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on IT systems, including updates and backups.
- Network Management: Assist in the management of network infrastructure and connectivity issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to users on software applications and IT best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to enhance system performance and security.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of IT systems and technologies.
Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose IT problems, experience with network repairs and analysis and good customer service skills. Ability to communicate effectively to help customers fix their issues and feel satisfied with the experience. In addition to that strong or good knowledge in:
- Microsoft 365 and Office suite
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft Windows Server 2016 and ActiveDirectory
- Ubuntu Server
- OpenVpn
- Network troubleshooting
- Fluent in French and English
