Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Design, install, configure, and maintain MySQL database systems in OCI and GCP environments.
• Perform regular database performance tuning and optimization.
• Monitor and ensure the availability and integrity of database systems.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with other team members to design and implement database solutions for FinTech applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with database security policies and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to developers on database-related matters.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a MySQL DBA.
• Strong understanding of database architecture and principles.
• Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.
• Experience with database security best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in the financial technology (FinTech) industry is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL database architecture, configuration, and administration on platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), GCP, and Azure.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
