Role Overview:
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will engage in both front-end and back-end development, working with modern technologies to build and maintain robust, transaction-driven systems. - Design and implement efficient data processing algorithms and robust back-end logic.
- Work on transaction-driven systems, with exposure to sectors like finance, insurance, e-commerce, or travel booking systems advantageous.
- Adopt test-driven development practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.

- Address security considerations by applying industry best practices and proactively resolving potential vulnerabilities.
- Participate in critical thinking during code reviews and architectural decisions, maintaining high standards for product quality.
- Engage in the evolution of long-term products, working within a team that values sustained quality over short-term gains.
- Communicate effectively in English and Dutch within a diverse and dynamic technology team.
This position is based in Belgium and so must the applicants be.
THERE IS NO WORK PERMIT ARRANGEMENT!
We are looking for candidates who embody a strong blend of technical proficiency, thoughtful collaboration, and a strategic, product-focused mentality. The ideal candidate is someone who brings depth of experience in Full-Stack Development, with a solid foundation in both modern front-end technologies and robust back-end architectures.
- Technical Excellence: Candidates should demonstrate hands-on expertise in .NET, React.js, and Azure Cloud, with additional AWS experience considered an advantage. A background in building and maintaining data processing pipelines and transactional systems is highly valued. Familiarity with security best practices and a clear ability to proactively address secure coding concerns are required. Experience with test-driven development is essential, aligning with our team’s commitment to quality and reliability.
- Professional Experience: We value candidates with solid, mid-level to senior experience—junior backgrounds are not the right fit for this position. We seek individuals who have played an integral role in product development, not just consulting or project assignments, and who bring a strong understanding of both the back and front ends of digital products. Exposure to industries such as finance, insurance, e-commerce, or travel booking systems is a plus, especially when related to transaction-driven systems.
- Personal Qualities: We welcome candidates of all personalities and do not require extroversion. Those who thrive in our team demonstrate critical thinking, hold themselves to high professional standards, and have a keen eye for aesthetics and visual consistency. The capability to collaborate thoughtfully with designers as well as to work independently in shaping the product experience is important.
- Mindset and Values: We are particularly interested in individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to make a long-term impact and who are seeking stability rather than short-term assignments or frequent career moves.
- Language and Location: Fluency in English and/ or Dutch is essential, as is current residency in Belgium.
The right person for this role combines technical depth, product mindset, aesthetic sensibility, and a commitment to collaborative, lasting success.
