About the job

We are looking for a Sales Manager for one of our clients, a leader in the energy sector, specializing in power transformers and generation pads.

They provide cutting-edge solutions to the utilities market and are committed to driving innovation in energy management.


Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with 10-15 years of experience in sales and business development within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, dynamic, and a true hunter, capable of identifying and seizing new business opportunities. This role is not suited for someone who is only comfortable maintaining existing accounts; we need a professional who can open doors and drive growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the utilities market.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a sales team of 3 in the US and 2 in Europe.
  • Travel extensively to meet clients and explore new markets.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to the management team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of experience in sales and business development.
  • Proven track record in the energy sector, preferably with a portfolio in the utilities market.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to meet clients and drive business development.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are highly desirable.
  • Experience in a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) environment.
  • Strong understanding of the energy market and its dynamics.
  • Ability to challenge existing strategies and propose innovative solutions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
