We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in managing and evolving Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR platforms in a regulated banking environment. This role focuses on maintaining platform reliability, managing incidents and alerts, developing integrations, and leading tool migrations and infrastructure enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• System Uptime & Reliability
  Ensure the Cortex XSOAR platform is fully operational and meets performance and availability targets across banking operations.
• Incident and Alert Response
  Monitor, triage, and resolve security alerts and incidents through XSOAR playbooks and manual investigation, ensuring timely response and resolution.
• Custom Development & Integration
  Develop custom scripts (e.g., Python) and integrations to enhance XSOAR’s interoperability with internal tools, threat intelligence feeds, and third-party platforms.
• Platform Migration & Infrastructure Design
  Lead the migration of XSOAR from version 6 to version 8, including building and deploying a new infrastructure to support updated architecture, automation flows, and enterprise scaling requirements.
• Operational Optimization
  Collaborate with security analysts and IT teams to continuously improve automated response playbooks, reduce false positives, and streamline SOC operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in systems engineering roles, and Cybersecurity Knowledge, ideally in financial services or similarly regulated sectors.
• Strong expertise in Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR including playbook development, custom integrations, and module configuration.
• Proficient in scripting (Python preferred) and automation design.
• Solid understanding of Linux-based systems, networking fundamentals, and SIEM/SOAR concepts.
• Familiarity with incident response processes and SOC workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure deployment and tool migration projects.
