About the job
About the Role: This position serves as a critical bridge in supporting our client’s transition within the banking sector to post-quantum cryptography (PQC). The role combines project planning & scheduling with active stakeholder management, ensuring all cryptographic transformation initiatives are organized and aligned across the organization.
- Plan, organize, and track efforts to achieve post-quantum cryptography readiness with multiple stakeholders.
- Coordinate workshops and strategic meetings with architects, managers, and technical experts to discuss crypto-agility and cryptographic practices.
- Support the transition strategy by working closely with the Chapter Lead to define priorities, objectives, and roadmaps for PQC adoption.
- Identify and help implement inventory management tools for cryptographic keys and materials.
- Drive communication and alignment between internal teams (IT, Security, Architecture) and with external partners to ensure consistent cryptographic standards and practices.
- Increase organizational awareness on crypto-agility through information sessions, collaboration, and advocacy campaigns.
- Utilize knowledge of cryptography concepts to effectively facilitate discussions and bridge understanding between technical and business stakeholders.
This is an initial 6-month contract, with a possibility for extension, requiring excellent English proficiency and working knowledge of French or Dutch. Experience in IT or security transformation projects is a strong advantage.
We are looking for candidates who thrive on clarity, structure, and communication in dynamic, complex environments. The ideal person excels at orchestrating collaboration between technical and business teams, effortlessly bridging gaps to ensure alignment and progress. Their attention to detail and proactive mindset drive them to anticipate obstacles and organize efforts to meet shared goals.
- Exceptional organization and coordination abilities — you naturally bring order to complex initiatives and keep momentum going, even when priorities shift.
- Highly effective communicator — you are able to explain technical concepts to both experts and non-experts, ensuring everyone is on the same page. Your interpersonal skills help build trust and facilitate buy-in across diverse teams.
- A collaborative team player — you build strong, productive relationships with architects, managers, and cross-functional partners, building consensus and driving engagement across the organization.
- Solid foundational understanding of cryptography principles — while you may not be a deep expert, you are comfortable working in IT/security environments and engaging credibly with subject matter specialists.
- Track record in coordinating transformation projects — prior experience in IT or security transformation projects is highly valued. You combine structure and flexibility to adapt plans as needed.
- Self-driven and proactive — you take initiative, prioritize effectively, and deliver on commitments with minimal oversight.
- Comfortable managing multiple internal and external stakeholders — you balance strategic vision with attention to detail and are comfortable driving alignment between different groups.
- Multilingual capabilities — fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in French and/or Dutch adds value in our diverse environment.
If you are energized by collaborative change and enjoy empowering teams to navigate technological transition with clarity and confidence, you could be a strong fit for this role.
