Role Overview


The Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity (Qatar Market) is responsible for driving business growth and market expansion efforts in Qatar, while being based in Dubai. This position focuses on promoting the company’s cybersecurity solutions to enterprise and commercial clients, requiring regular travel to Qatar and strong engagement with key stakeholders in the region.


Key Duties and Scope

  • Business Development: Develop and execute strategies tailored to the Qatari market to drive revenue and expand the company’s presence.
  • Identify and acquire new clients within the enterprise and commercial sectors of Qatar.
  • Position and differentiate the company’s cybersecurity solutions to meet the specific needs of the Qatari market.
  • Conduct frequent in-person meetings and relationship-building with prospective and existing clients during a minimum of two weeks each month spent in Qatar.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity industry developments relevant to Qatar.
  • Account Management and Client Relationship: Manage client relationships to ensure high satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Translate market feedback into custom solutions, supporting client onboarding and ongoing account development.
  • Sales Process and Administration: Maintain CRM system data and sales forecasts that are current and accurate.
  • Monitor invoicing and ensure timely payment collections for Qatari clients.
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate RFPs, RFQs, and tender processes specific to opportunities in Qatar.
  • Support the marketing team for targeted campaign execution and represent the company at industry events.
  • Prepare and implement sales plans using approved frameworks, in compliance with internal standards.
  • Performance and Collaboration: Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and other performance metrics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Ensure all professional actions and client interactions reflect the company’s brand and values.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director.

Language requirements:

  • Fluency in English and strong professional command of Arabic are essential for success in this market-facing role.

  • Strategic Mindset: Capable of developing and executing business development strategies specific to new markets, aligning commercial goals with competitive intelligence and a keen awareness of Qatari business culture.
  • Organized & Accountable: Meticulous with sales administration—adept at forecasting, pipeline management, CRM systems, and accurate reporting. Proactively manages the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial prospecting to RFP management and client onboarding.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Values cross-functional teamwork and contributes positively to internal knowledge-sharing and process improvement. Able to support marketing efforts and adapt to new priorities or challenges as business needs evolve.
  • Agile & Resilient: Willing and able to travel frequently between Dubai and Qatar, demonstrating flexibility, stamina, and cultural sensitivity. Maintains unwavering focus on achieving ambitious targets and overcoming obstacles.
  • Language Proficiency: Effectively communicates in both English and Arabic, adept at tailoring messaging for diverse business audiences and navigating complex negotiations with tact and persuasiveness.
  • Industry Expertise: Brings a solid grasp of cybersecurity solutions and an understanding of enterprise and commercial sales channels, particularly in Gulf markets.
