My client, specialized in outdoor communication, is looking for an experienced Business/Functional Analyst in Brussels. The ideal candidate will need to take a central position within our IT department to meet the growing demands for digitization. As an IT Business Analyst, the candidate will be required to understand business requirements and translate them into clear technical objectives to be accomplished by our development team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to thoroughly understand and document business requirements and needs.
• Support discussions and assess the feasibility of use cases, clearly defining benefits while ensuring commercial viability (ROI) and timely execution.
• Strategically prioritize tasks.
• Analyze needs to address analytical questions, whether they are related to business, financial, or operational aspects, in the context of BI.
• Identify areas for improvement within the company to increase productivity and cost-effectively reduce costs.
• Define the impacts of change on business areas and plan the implementation of necessary changes.
• Maintain regular reports on project progress, working closely with stakeholders and the IT Director.

Your Profile:

• Proficient in both French and Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Strong initiative and proactivity.
• Deep understanding of business needs.

• Excellent communication skills and professional maturity.
• Ability to make decisions and withstand stress.
• Ability to multitask with limited supervision.
• In-depth knowledge of operational IT, especially in Business Intelligence (BI) areas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft BI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Practical experience with Power BI.
• Thorough knowledge of IT architectures, as well as market development tools and methods.
