About the job
Job Purpose: The role aims to deliver solutions and innovations for the implementation of the SAP SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) module, adhering to best practices in system configuration. The role ensures that users have access to advanced technology, supporting them in achieving their business objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Multi-Project Management: Handle multiple engagements simultaneously, managing tasks effectively.
- Project Planning Support: Assist the IT planning team during the project evaluation phase and support the project manager in developing and implementing the project plan, covering scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
- Requirement Gathering: Collect business requirements and explore best practices through process design workshops. Collaborate closely with the IT planning team to ensure business objectives and needs are translated into well-defined, justified projects.
- Task Execution: Execute assigned project tasks in areas of competence, communicate with stakeholders, collaborate with task groups, perform required system configurations, and assist business users in testing phases.
- Project Implementation: Execute all project activities within the assigned area, adhering to SAP Activate Methodology.
- User Support: Provide support to business users through incident and problem management, change management, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
- Skill Development: Continuously develop core skills, cross-functional expertise, and business knowledge. Apply knowledge gained from past projects to improve the execution of future tasks.
- SAP Interaction: Liaise with SAP organizations as needed to address specific business requirements in an efficient and timely manner.
- Quality Deliverables: Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes that meet business satisfaction.
- User Training: Train departmental staff in SAP functionality, enabling them to utilize the module independently without relying on ongoing SAP technical support.
- Process Improvement: Enhance departmental procedures and implement controls to fulfill procedural and legislative requirements, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to relevant safety, quality, and environmental procedures in SAP activities to maintain employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality service delivery, and responsible environmental practices.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or Management.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- 4 years of SAP-related experience, preferably in a large industrial or utilities organization.
- At least 2 years of SAP SRM experience.
- Significant experience in defining business processes, creating functional specifications, and training users in system operation.
Professional Certifications:
- SAP functional certification/accreditation in the relevant SAP module.
