- Expert advice to clients on M&A transactions.

- Complete management of legal aspects of M&A transactions.

- Drafting and review of legal documents.

- Negotiations representing buyers and sellers.

- Legal compliance throughout the process.

- Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

- Due diligence and risk assessment.

- Monitoring of industry and legal trends.

- Training and mentoring of junior team members.

profile:

  • Master’s degree in Law. Knowledge of Belgian law is required.
  • Proven experience as a Legal Manager or similar role, with a strong emphasis on M&A transactions;
  • Deep understanding of legal principles and regulations related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings;
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills to effectively prepare legal documents and conduct negotiations;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to provide commercially focused legal advice;
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members;
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset to identify and assess potential legal risks;
  • Professional certification or membership with relevant legal organizations is a plus;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
