App Development Officer

SCARAB Sports creates cutting-edge sports technology to bring valuable insights to their clients and partners like KAA Gent, Royal Antwerp FC, OH Leuven, … The application is the key to getting access to SCARAB Sports’ products. Therefore SCARAB is looking for an app developer to further expand the app which will be the indispensable tool during the training sessions of the future.


YOUR JOB:


• Contribute to the continuous development of our sports technology
• Develop new features, updates, perform research, and fix bugs
• Actively make suggestions to improve the product
• Ensure maintainability by documenting code and solutions
• You are part of the agile environment with stand-ups, demos, sprint planning, etc.


YOUR REQUIRED SKILL SET:


• Strong and broad knowledge of mobile development platforms like React Native, iOS, Android
• Ability to use a REST API and you are able to contribute to the codebase of the REST API
• Familiar with one or more CI/CD environments: Github, AWS, or Google cloud platform.
• Write well-documented and clean typescript code
• At least 2 years of previous experience in app development.
• Great sports and technology interests, especially in the football industry
• Excited to work hard in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment and open to continuous learning and development
